4.5/5 – Gentle Earth Kiss Me I’m Canadian Lip Balm is a spicy and soothing glaze for the lips. It is a shea butter based lip balm with a combination of maple and cinnamon for a uniquely Canadian quality. Although there is no SPF one ingredient is Cinnamic Acid, which does provide some UV protection, while another is shea butter which also provides some natural sun protection.
The cinnamon may irritate dry or very chapped lips, however if applied regularly it has healing and softening attributes.
The cinnamon may leave lips a little tingly for a (very) short time, however it was also found to gives an appearance of plumper, fuller lips. It makes lips very kissable!
With regular use one tube will last quite a long time, as not a lot is needed for each application. A small amount will keep lips feeling moisturised for a few hours.
Gentle Earth has since changed to Island Essentials for skin and beauty care and the brand Gentle Earth is where they manufacture household products.
They have stopped selling the Kiss Me I’m Canadian Lip Balm but we look forward to trying their many options.
