Kiehl’s is a well established company for natural skincare. This Micro-Peel Concentrate is derived from sustainably source quinoa husk from Bolivia, and it is dermatologist tested.
The parent company of Kiehl’s is L’Oreal, and neither are on the PETA safe list.

1/5 – Although there are some benefits to Kiehl’s Micro-Peel Concentrate, overall it did it offer good value for money. There are comparable products on the market that do not come with the same price tag.
After application, the softer areas of the face (around the nose and lips) were stinging and pink. This feeling went away after absorption, which was about thirty minutes later. Upon waking in the morning the face is left feeling more raw than radiant, however after a few weeks skin did feel renewed.
Long term effects of bi-weekly use will leave the skin with an even tone, yet possible dry in more delicate areas.
This is not recommended for sensitive or acne-prone skin and unless an uneven skin tone is your only concern, use another regular, bi-weekly exfoliant.

Although sustainably sourced quinoa husk from Bolivia is used, this causes a lot of air miles behind the product, as the ingredients come from Bolivia and creation is generally carried out in America, and then the product is distributed worldwide.
