Tea Tree Peppermint Gentle Mouthwash
In a bowl mix:
½ cup warm water
¼ cup aloe gel
Whisked together with a fork
Add
1 tsp Baking Soda
Whisk further
Add
¼ tsp Tumeric Powder https://www.turmericforhealth.com/turmeric-benefits/why-turmeric-is-fantastic-for-oral-health-and-hygiene
Whisk more
Add
5 drops Tea Tree Oil
7 drops Peppermint Oil
Whisk and let sit overnight
Next day dilute it with 1/3 cup more warm water and stir the mixture.

Will require shaking before each use as the powders settle at the base of the container.
This will freshen breath and it is gentle on the teeth and gums.
As some people find baking soda and turmeric can be harsh on the gums, it is not advisable to use this daily.
Green Tea Aloe Mouthwash
Mix together
¼ cup green tea (tropical adds some vitamin C)
½ cup aloe vera gel (¼ cup gel diluted with ¼ warm water)
10 drops tea tree oil

This is gentle on the teeth and gums, freshens breath and can be used twice daily, although some may not like to use this before bed – if the green tea used has caffeine.

Aloe Peppermint Mouthwash
Mix together
½ cup warm water
¼ cup aloe vera juice
10 drops peppermint essential oil
5 drops tea tree oil
¼ teaspoon coconut oil

Freshens breath, soft on gum tissue, can be used daily.

Turmeric Peppermint Mouthwash
Mix together
¾ cup water
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
5 drops peppermint essential oil
4 drops tea tree oil

This will have to be shaken before each use as the powders collect at the bottom of the container. It is also yellowey orange in colour but does not stain the teeth.
Can be used daily as the abrasive powders are diluted, but for those with gum problems they may not want to and it is advised to experiment with the usage.
Leaves the mouth clean with a shine to the white enamel.
May not freshen breath for very long – for longer lasting fresh breath add more peppermint oil.

The turmeric powder may leave a yellow mark around the sink, and must be rinsed quickly to prevent a lasting stain.
