It offers a lightweight replenishing moisture that absorbs quickly leaving the face ready for cosmetic applications.
As Aveda is an established company, there is a price tag associated with it. Although the products does last a while as not a lot is needed, the reviewer did not feel it the quality was matched to the price.
Aveda operates on an environmental, green beauty ethos and uses sustainably derived plant based sources, although it has been accused of greenwashing.
Aveda is cruelty free, however their parent company Estee Lauder does engage in animal testing in China.
