5/5 Mooncup Menstrual Cup – As far as menstrual cups go, the Mooncup is a reputable choice. Upon purchase the stem is quite long, it can be trimmed to size, but sometimes a stem is too short to begin with so this is refreshing.
This is comfortable, even during sports, and easy to empty and clean.
Tip – to disinfect, InherentSkincare will leave the Mooncup in a mug (set aside for this purpose) of boiling water with half a cap full of apple cider vinegar in it, for 5-10 minutes before and after your cycle. This reviewer has had their Mooncup for nearly 10 years and has had no issues while using this method.
Mooncup cleaning guidelines are similar although they do not mention using apple cider vinegar, as it may damage the silicone.
The Mooncup is latex free
